Baked Halibut in Wine and Herbs Recipe

Ingredients:

4 (6-ounce) halibut steaks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 green onions, minced
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano

Methods:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Season halibut on both sides with salt and pepper.Place in a single layer in a baking dish.
3. Whisk together wine, lemon juice, olive oil, green onions, garlic and oregano.Pour over fish, cover and bake for 20 minutes, or until done.Fish should flake easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
